Experience


In 2007 Amanda took on the role of part-time Archivist at the Deseronto Archives, where she worked until 2016. From 2009 to 2016 she managed the Archeion service for the Archives Association of Ontario.

Prior to moving to Canada in 2007, Amanda worked for 
Mimas, a national data centre at the University of Manchester in England. There she was responsible for running the Archives Hub, an online gateway to archives in universities throughout the UK. Before that, she worked as an archivist in a range of repositories: Rhodes House Library in Oxford (now part of the Bodleian's Weston Library), the Essex Record Office, and Canterbury Cathedral Archives

Amanda qualified as an archivist at University College London in 1991, after completing a degree in Language and Linguistic Science at the University of York.
